Give back to Colorado Public Lands by participating in CMC’s data blitz

During the month of May Colorado Mountain Club (CMC) is celebrating Colorado Public Lands Day. Traditionally, CMC hosts a trail work day, but in light of the COVID-19 pandemic they are promoting the use of their innovative solution, CMC RIMS, instead. Data collected through the CMC RIMS Mobile App will help Colorado land managers understand where and how people are recreating during social distancing.

You can give back to public lands by downloading the FREE CMC RIMS Mobile App and submitting data on trail maintenance, dispersed campsites, and visitor use while you recreate. All new users in May will be entered to win a CMC prize pack plus prizes for users who collect the most data.

If you’ve followed our work with CMC and CANA Advisors to develop CMC RIMS, and you live in Colorado, hopefully you are able to participate in CMC’s data blitz this month! Check out our previous blogs posts, linked below, sharing how CMC uses Ri360 to analyze the data volunteers collect on the CMC RIMS Mobile App.
