I have an insatiable appetite for creating meaning out of complex data scenarios, and providing customers with actionable results from their data.

Kevin graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a B.Sc. Honours degree in Computational Science. In the last three decades, Kevin has worked as the head designer for a large-scale telecom billing system and designed and developed the laboratory sciences component of a donor to patient blood tracking system while working with the Canadian Red Cross and Mayo Clinic.

In 2001, Kevin met Chris while working as a solution architect for an automated service activation system at one of the first commercially available fiber-to-home implementations in CA. They quickly realized they had complementary skills and grew to be good friends as well as colleagues. Once they successfully completed their project together, they decided to create a new business, ReconInsight, with the goal of developing a cutting-edge data tool.

Throughout his 13 years as a co-founder of ReconInsight, Kevin has found countless opportunities to grow his own skills and continue to push boundaries. Kevin has a deep interest in creating and designing things. He counts himself as having his dream job, to put it simply.

Kevin’s co-founder, Chris, will be the first to share his admiration for Kevin’s unique skillset, “Kevin is an incredible engineer with the utmost attention to detail - he manages our most complex and intricate data challenges.”

Kevin lives with his wife, Janet, in beautiful Kelowna, BC, Canada (about 4 hours from Vancouver, BC). They have three kids and two grandchildren. In his free time, Kevin can be found watching the Kelowna Rockets play major-junior hockey, golfing, kayaking, or spending time with his family.

The Fedorak family has been involved with Kelowna’s Minor Fastpitch Softball team for many years. Kevin recently retired as an executive and coach of the team. They have also been substantial financial supporters of the local food bank which helps many families in Kelowna.
